It was written and directed by Brad Bird ("The Incredibles" writer/director). That and the previews look promising to me.
Very good movie.

The timeless story of the phantom (Gerard Butler) trying to capture the heart of Christine Daae (Emmy Rossum) from Raul (Patrick Wilson).

The beautiful music of Andrew Lloyd Webber, amazing sets, and believable acting makes this film a classic.
Good movie.

A romantic comedy- good acting. Heath Ledger and Julia Stiles star as 2 people in a hilarious plan to get around dating rules.

A classic remake of the Shakespearean play "The Taming of the Shrew" set in a modern day high school.

If you can't put up with sexual humor, don't watch this movie!

Johnny Depp~ Ah what can I say! He is not only good-looking but a great actor. I respect that he does not pick what will make him just popular or make more money; He picks what he is interested in, things that he thinks will improve him. For instance I can't see Brad Pitt taking this part.

This movie manages to make you laugh and cry. It inspires kindness to people with disabilities.

The only thing I didn't like about this movie was the ending.
This movie was interesting. Some of it hilarious, some of it gross!

It has the perfect story though. It follows a "loser", Lane Meyer (John Cusack), and a French foreign exchange student, Monique Junot (Diane Franklin) through the trials and tribulations of high school romances and cliques.

Overall I liked this movie.
Ray - the life story of Ray Charles, what can I say? Well I'll start off with the good stuff.

I can see why Jamie Foxx won an Oscar for his portrayal of the late Ray Charles. The acting was really good. I also like the music. For me these were the only things that saved this movie from a "only with a shotgun to your head" rating.

The bad stuff? This movie sufficiently made me hate Ray Charles- what a jerk! Before the movie I kind of felt sorry for him because he was blind, but all that is now gone. He was married and had 9 children with 7 different women. He cheated on his wife, as if that's not bad enough she was pregnant one of the many times he did cheat on her. He was a drug addict, a smoker, a boozer.

I give this movie a "Only If It's On TV" rating - but if something else was on, I'm sure I'd watch that instead.

I love Pride & Prejudice. The acting is great, the story is classic. (I think the book is starting to beat my current favorite "Little Women" and I'm only on the fifth chapter!) Colin Firth even manages to be hot and annoying at the same time because he doesn't smile showing some teeth until the end of the movie!

I highly recommend this movie and hey, I'd stay home from work to watch it too. (It was deemed so good in England that people would call in sick to work and stay home and watch it)
