Leopard Correct Date(TM) Not So Correct
Wait a minute here...
I was showing off the new Leopard iCal "Correct Date™" fix to my wife. And it isn't working right! Not in the way it used to "not work" in Tiger (ie: it does not constantly default to July 17 as all iCals previous did). But rather in that it is trying to show today's date and getting it wrong.
At 12:30PM CST November 3, 2007 (my time) when iCal is running it shows the correct date for today, both in the Shift+Tab application overlay and the dock ...as iCal always has when it is running. However, when I shut down iCal and just have the icon sitting in the dock it says "NOV 2"....huh?
I wonder if I am the first one to spot this? Probably not...but I can't find any mention of it on "the Google".
....well, days later the strangeness continues....
Yesterday, November 8, the icons for my iCal both in my Cmd+Shift app list and in my dock were a day behind.
Same thing today, November 9th...all my icons say NOV/8.
