(I will have to use the term "restaurant" loosely here...but with my new diet kick I might be looking for Trader Joe's quick lunches pretty often just for the ability to not eat American sized portions for lunch.)

I mooched a ride off some coworkers and we cruised the 2 miles over there.

NOTE: I had overheard conversations from coworkers that when it is crazy busy and they actually have people directing traffic the best thing to do it to drive to the second driveway (Lexington/Juno) and enter there - then shoot straight down into the secret underground "Red Thai Chili Sauce" parking ramp. (Although it wasn't busy today, we did it anyhow.)

? Chicken Shu Mai (with soy dipping sauce) - 3 servings for a total of 480 calories...I ate 10 of the 18 of them. The shu mai themselves were okay...but the dipping sauces tasted like plain Kikkoman....which did nothing but foul the product. If one had a decent soy/ginger sauce and threw out the suppied sauce it might move up to good.

My coworker brought this stuff to a company potluck. It sat unloved in the middle of the table while all the things covered in cheese and chocolate got eaten because, frankly, it looks like regular ol' boring popcorn. It that sat there until the first person took a bite and yelled "DAMN! What is on this stuff?" as he dove headlong into the bowl. Soon an all out fistfight broke out as every person tried to get their hands into the bowl at once.

Mona's White Chocolate Popcorn 4 oz white chocolate chips 1/3 tbsp Crisco/shortening 1 bag (which is usually around 4 cups) of microwave popcorn (less buttery is preferable - but don't get no-butter either) Melt chocolate and shortening in a double boiler until completely melted (to the consistency of approximately ranch dressing)...while simultaneously popping the popcorn. Best case scenario is that they both hit the giant mixing bowl piping hot. Mix until coated. Lay out on wax paper-ed cookie sheet(s) and into the fridge to cool to reduce the chocolate getting a change to make the popcorn soggy while drying. Commence the eating orgy.

Well, it appears that Toyota does not ever expect to have its cars in -15° temperatures. Cuz the "Outside Temp" reading on my car read "15°". The next time I pushed the button it was -11° out...and it showed that correctly.

(Or maybe it was that the '-' sign LED was frozen when I started the car...who knows.)
